Curran’s North Wildwood to Take Over Establishment at 100, According to License Change

North Wildwood’s Establishment at 100 is slated to become Curran’s North Wildwood, based on a recent application to change the liquor licensing. The Establishment at 100 closed this past weekend, and had clearly stated on their Facebook page that they had been sold.

Wildwood Boardwalk New Hotel and Stores Proposed! Same Owners as the Newer Waves Hotel

More exciting news for Wildwood, as a NEW 30 UNIT BOARDWALK HOTEL including Five New Boardwalk Stores is being proposed!  The owner’s are the developers of Wildwood’s most recent new hotel, The Waves! The current property houses the Grandview Gift Shop and White Dolphin Restaurant.

Brunch Restaurant “Milkweed table + market” Coming to Wildwoods Bonelli Market Building! Also Pitman NJ!

“Milkweed table + market” will be opening at Wildwood’s famous Bonelli’s Market building .  Milkweed table + market is a brunch restaurant offering farm-to-table freshness!  This is more exciting news for Wildwood’s Pacific Ave, as we also posted about the exciting new housing and retail project a few blocks up on Pacific. 

Pacific Ave Retail and Seasonal Worker Housing project APPROVED! Developer Confirms Seasonal Only, Buying Parking Lot

The “Residences at Pacific” project on Pacific Ave Wildwood was approved in a late Planning Board session last night. It is a new building which will include first floor retail, and three floors of “student” housing for summer workers, as well as a swimming pool. The developer clarified it is summer season only (“We are winterizing”), and they have additional parking space under contract. The Residences at Pacific go to Planning Board Monday Oct 5. WE HAVE THE FULL PROJECT PLANS (Video)

The Residences at Pacific development team will be presenting to the Wildwood Planning Board on Monday Oct 5th, 6pm… to review their retail and residence project.  It will take the location where The Fairview, 2nd St Annies, and MT Bottles buildings are currently located.  We have the plans!!  Before the meeting!  The provided video gives a a full rundown!

Beach Ball Paintings Are Being Added to Wildwood’s Rio Grande Gateway Intersections! (Photos in Article)

Work has started to paint large Beach Balls on the asphalt of two key Rio Grande intersections in Wildwood! This is part of the larger Rio Grande Gateway flood management project, which also recognizes the importance of this entrance gateway to travelers, and includes distinctive features like this to promote the town’s tourist image.

Hefty Increase for New Jersey Tolls Starts Sunday for 3 Major Highways! Expect More Travelers on Rt 55/47 Next Year

Back in May 2020, New Jersey Governor Murphy approved a large toll increases for the 3 main New Jersey roadways, two of which are key paths to the Jersey Shore and the Wildwoods.  The increases go into effect this Sunday 9/13/2020.

As we sadly get closer to the end of the summer Wildwood season, the question always comes up on Social Media “When do the piers close? When does the boardwalk close?”… and with the presumably lighter crowds of COVID, it adds just a little more doubt to what will be open after Labor Day. Well the last ride for 2020 will be Sunday Sept 20th. But it gets a little more complicated than that as things wind down on different speeds, and you can still get Curley’s Fries on September 27th!
